Jim Moore

The name Jim Moore is quite common, however, the man and his work is anything but ordinary. Native born to the Southern California area, Jim's schooling includes Van Nuys and Whittier High, Mt. San Antonio College, and Art Center College of Design where he received a BFA in 1967.

Jim has held many positions in the graphic arts field, and has become a well-rounded artist and designer over the years. While working in advertising he was introduced to the newly reborn "lost" art of stained glass, and began working at it as a secondary career in 1974.

Jim devotes his time to glasswork and designs with the clients taste, personality, and environment considered.

Jim appreciates the timeless tradition of glass art, concentrates on fine detail, and good old-fashioned craftsmanship. He takes on quantity jobs, but specializes in original works of art. Jim's work is displayed in the finer homes throughout the southern California area, and as far away as Hawaii and Saudi Arabia.

With a background like his, Jim considers no challenge too great, and puts his full effort behind each project in his strive for perfection and client satisfaction.
